Art on the Beltline 2012

I got the call. The Art on the Atlanta Beltline has accepted my proposal and given me a grant. cant wait to get started summoning some mutant plants.

in this 7 X 7 inch hard back (w/ dust jacket) book of 78 pages contains 60 high quality color prints of photographs that I have taken during 2009 summer and fall, as well as prints of hand written answering machine messages that i received in both reality and my dreams.

The idea for the Imaginary Answering Machine came from a series of dreams that I had where I would be listening to friends and loved ones talking to me through an answering machine...though I've never owned one. The Imaginary Answering Machine as well as most of the photography appeared in the collaborative installation Gathering Memories, Winnowed Thoughts, (2010, white space gallery)
